Memoirs in Music
A Community of Later Life Musicians
One Musician’s Journey
At the age of 63, having retired from my “1st Song” (my Career), I took my first music lesson to begin my “2nd Song,” (my Music). Now at age 77, I have learned guitar, cello, piano, electric bass, and the clarinet (and have so far staved off dementia). I’ve written dozens of songs and have released two albums, my Musical Memoir.
Now I help others come back to music as a way to capture a lifetime and create a legacy.
👆 Here’s a song from my album “When One Is Loved.”
Our Mission:
Every year millions of people retire from their careers. Too many have sacrificed their connection to playing music in order to achieve “success.”
Yet we still feel the pull of music deep inside us, and now it’s stronger than ever. If this is you, you’re in the right place.
If Career was your 1st Song, let Music be your 2nd!
My mission is to create a community of 2nd Song Artists who support and nurture each other as we bring our creative spark back to life and create a Musical Memoir.
